STS Riders First Place in the Cattle Penning Regional FInals!

Sweet Talk Stables' Shaelynn Enders team placed first in Ten class at regional finals with Devon and Sierra. All of our teams made it to the top ten in at least one class . Great weekend Sweettalkers!

Serenity Enders, Karissa Enders, Rachel Mackay and Kristin Gretener represented Canada in Guatemala, this February 2017 achieving a team Silver. Congrats to the team! Way to represent!

Spring Horseback Riding Lesson Season at Sweet Talk Stables is here! So if you were away this Sumer make sure you regester early to save your spot as classes are filling up quickly. If your a beginner make sure you get into the next Beginner Clinic. As the classes fill we continue to add quite a few new classes that are not yet listed on the website. Please contact Joyce for additional lesson times. Remember the weather is changing so dress appreopriately.

STS Riders competed at the Canadian Team Cattle Penning National Finals October 12th finishing in the top 10 in three divisions out of over 1000 of the best teams from across North America! Including Reserve Champions in the 8 Shoot out!!

After our success at the Calgary Stampede our riders continued their winning streak in the National Finals, again the evet was at the Calgary Stampede Grounds. Joyce, Hope, Karissa, Serenity and Kristin all had a banner weekend!! Here is a link to their website for details CanadianPenning

Sweet Talk Stable's Riders Hope Enders and Shaelynn Enders are competing for top spot and big money at the 2015 Calgary Stampede!!

We are very excited to announce that, after competing against hundreds of the top teams from across North America, Hope Enders and Shalelynn Enders have made it into the top 20 teams in Team Cattle Penning. Hope’s team will be competing at 5:30 today, July 3rd, in the Saddledome. Hope and Shae’s teams will both be competing on Sunday July 5th, in the Saddledome. If you can, come out and support Hope and Shae as they compete for top spot and a piece of the over $200.000 in prize money available! Hope’s teams are currently sitting in 10th spot in the 7 class and 14th in the 10 class. Shaelynn’s team beat out all 300 teams and is sitting in FIRST PLACE in the 10 class, already winning the purse for top spot overall in the Qualifier!

We hope to see you Today and Sunday at 5:30 in the Saddledome. Come out and support our local girls! For those of you who aren’t familiar with Team Cattle Penning here is the description from the Calgary Stamped Website:

Sweet Talk Stables rocked the winter training series at Rocky Mountain Showjumping 2015.

Sweet Talk finished off the winter training series at Rocky Mountain show jumping with many champion and reserve champion titles. Rachel and Perfect Paula being part of thier first show season finished champion in the poles division and reserve champion in x-rails. Serenity on Sweet Heart finished reserve champion in the short stirrup ponies division. Taylor and Prince Charming finished Champions of the 1m division. Mikayla and Cantero Star finished Champion in the 1.1m division, Hope and Princessa taking the reserve champion in the 1.1m and also in the 1.15m. Great riding by everyone now we're ready for the summer series!

Sweet Talk Stables Students and Coaches Huge winners at the 2014 Spruce Meadows Masters Battle of the Breeds!!

Team Pinto with Hope Enders, Shaelynn Enders and Roxanne Wenstrom took first place overall winning the Telus Battle of the Breeds! Team Shetland Pony with Karissa Enders and Mikayla Brabant took second place overall! Taking the top two spots was our best finish ever competing against powerhouse teams from across North America. Great Job Ladies :)

Sweet Talk Stables' Students Win Big again at the Spruce Meadows May Classic!

Sweet Talk Stables' Joyce Enders and Hope Enders took 12 of our students to the Spruce Meadows May Classic and we came home with dozens of ribbons and happy faces! Great Job girls! Thanks to all the people that came and helped and those that cheered us on. Special Shout Outs to Mikayla Brabant and Hayleigh Hollingsworth who brought home the coveted Spruce Meadows Coolers for their first place finishes! Congratulations to all the students lead by Head Coach Joyce Enders, (owner of Sweet Talk Stables) and Coach Hope Enders! Throughout the 4 day show our students consistently placed in the ribbons over and over again and in classes with over 40+ entries. The majority of the horses and ponies were also trained by our trainers in the Sweet Talkn' Training program and owned by Sweet Talk Stables. Great work everyone! Performance Awards Night A Huge Success! Thanks to everone who helped!


In light of the crazy March 3rd Blizzard (see photos)  The Performance Awards for the 2012 Horse Show and Gymkhana series had to be postponed but that just increased the anticipation and participation! Check out the pics of all the fun. We had a huge barn party, with live Sweet Talkers playing cups and guitars! We followed it up with the handing out of over 30 trophies, mixed in a 3 Bar Jumping Competition  and this year for the first time ever a Human 3 Bar Competiton! Remember the shows are open to everyone but if you purchae your club membership your points accumulate towards year end awards. The sooner you sign up the sooner you accumulate points

Hope Enders finishes 7th overall in the Prairie Region for the Canadian Equestrian Team Medal Finals!

Sweet Talk Stables proud to announce that Hope Enders finished 7th overall in her first year qualifying for the Canadian Equestrian Team (CET) Prairie Regional Medal Finals.This very strict competition pushes riders through 3 days of events including, Flat, Gymnastics and Jumping, to find the best young riders in Canada. Hope has done us all proud again and is officially among the top riders in the prairie region! Hope is the oldest daughter of Sweet Talk Stables owner Joyce Enders. Hope coaches, trains and actively competes in both English and Western disciplines, holding national titles in both. This exciting CET finish follows right on the heels of Hope's exciting wins at both the Spruce Meadows Masters Battle of the Breeds and Regional Penning Finals, this is an exciting September for Hope!!

The last two weeks have been some of our best all year with huge wins at the Central Alberta Penning Association, then followed by our most successful performance ever at the Spruce Meadows Masters Battle of the Breeds! Regional Finals Central Alberta Penning Association Winners!

Congratulations to your coaches Joyce, Hope and Vicki, and also to Shae and Karissa. Joyce won high point Individual rider in the 5 class, winning the saddle! Hope, Joyce and Amanda winning the five class team buckles. Vicki, Brad and Joyce placed 10th in the 7 out of 81 teams! Shae, Hope and Josi, winning the Sr. Youth team buckles! Joyce, Amanda and Karissa winning 4th in the five class.

Spruce Meadows Masters Jumping Winners!

Team Pinto wins first place at the Spruce Meadows Masters Battle of the Breeds Jumping! Sweet Talk Stables is proud of our jumpers "Kolour Kode", with Lyle Peterman on board, and Sweetheart, with Hope Enders. They finished with the first and second highest scores resulting in the team win. As well, Sweet Talk's riders for Team Shetland Pony, Shaelynn Enders on Baby-J and Karissa Enders on Flying Loli-pop were the crowd favourites as usual :)

First Place again today In Precision Driving at Spruce Meadows

Sweet Talk Stables is proud to announce that our owner Joyce Enders driving Panda, and Macleod Creek Farms Leah Peterson driving Spice took first place in Precision Driving for Team Shetland Pony! That's two firsts in two days for our Sweet Talkers! Also Team Pinto placed 3rd in barrels with Hope Enders on Sweetheart and Roxane Wenstrom on Reckless! The crowd went wild when Shaelynn Enders and Karissa Enders ran the barrels for Team Shetland Pony on Flying Lolly-Pop and Baby-J.

An unprecedented third win at Spruce Meadows! Trail Riding.

Sweet Talk Stables is beyond proud of our riders for Team Shetland Pony wining first place in Trail Riding today! In the words of the Spruce Meadows Announcer, Shaelynn and Karissa Enders riding for Team Shetland Pony had a, "Definitive win in trail". And in passing, the course master agreed saying that, "They were the only team that went for it!!" And go for it they did, two kids and their ponies going all out and having fun at the same time! the crowd was going wild! Team Shetland Pony was also voted as Fan Favourite again this year, thanks so much for voting!! With that and a combined total of 3 first places in the Spruce Meadows Masters Battle of the Breeds our Sweet Talkers and their teammates obliterated all of our past records. Great job! A huge thanks to all of our tireless volunteers. Also a huge thanks to Joyce Enders for her unwavering commitment to making the impossible possible every single day in her life and the lives of so many around her.

Sweet Talk Stables is very excited to be part of preserving the history of our local community by having the Historic House from Langdon moved to or facility grounds this January. We are currently in the process of restoring it to it's original condition.

Payments:

Reminder, Lesson, Board and Lease payments are due before the 1st of each month, as this continues to be an issue late fees will apply. You may also lose your spot in lessons and boarders may lose their stalls, we assume if you haven't paid by the first that your not coming back.
